A clear process, and no surprises about money
Broking is straightforward when it is done honestly: understand the business, package the case properly, place it with the right lender and explain exactly what it costs. Here is how that works in practice.
Your funding journey
Enquiry
You tell us about the business and what the funding is for. A short form or a phone call — whichever suits you.
Broker review
A named broker reviews the case, asks the right questions and confirms which funding routes are realistic before anything is submitted.
Lender matching
We package the case properly and propose it to the funders on our specialist panel that are most suited to your situation.
Offer and drawdown
We present offers side by side, explain the true cost, and manage the lender through to funds landing in the business account.
What to have ready
- Six months of business bank statements
- Latest filed accounts and, where available, management figures
- Details of any existing finance facilities
- A short explanation of what the funding is for
- Director details for identity and credit checks
What we commit to
- We tell you early if the case is not fundable, rather than stringing it out
- We only submit to lenders that suit the case — no scattergun applications
- We explain the true cost of each offer, not just the headline rate
- We manage the lender through to drawdown and stay contactable afterwards
We only earn when your funding completes
We never charge clients an upfront fee. Our income is commission paid by the lender once your facility has completed and funds have been released.
Typical commission range: 1% to 10% of the amount advanced, depending on the product, the lender and the complexity of the case. Short-term and specialist products sit at the higher end; larger, secured facilities sit at the lower end.
Commission is disclosed on your lender documentation, and we will tell you the exact figure at any point if you ask. If a case does not complete, we are paid nothing.
Ask us anything about commission
If you want to know exactly what we will earn on your deal, ask your broker. We will tell you, in writing, before you sign anything.
